Where will my ads appear?

 

Your ad will appear on the content sites of Clicksor's network and the search network. Our innovative technology scans our publisher's content, which ensures that your ad(s) are placed only on the specific page that is specific to your targeted audiences.

When do my ads start running?

 

Upon signing up an account with us, you can create your campaign(s) with us. For all first campaign, we will contact you within 72 business hours by phone to verify your account and campaign with us. All subsequent campaign(s) will be approved within 24 business hours without phone verification.

 

How does Clicksor know where to show my keyword-targeted ads?

 

With our innovative technologies, we are able to analyze the user as well as your ads to determine whether or not to show your ads. We are able to analyze the search query and know the user's location based upon their IP address and display the appropriate ad for the users.

 

What are some terminologies I should know?

 

Cost Metricsthe unit prices that you have available on your network (CPV, CPC, CPM)

Cost Per Click (CPC)once the user clicks on the banner, the advertiser will be charge for the click

Cost Per Visit (CPV)once the user views the ad, the advertiser will be charged.

Cost Per Thousand Impressions (CPM)once the ad is listed one thousand times, the user is charged

Landing page the page the user will land on when the user clicks on the ad

Creative/Advertisement/Landing page the ad that the advertiser would like to use for their campaign

Contextual Advertising (content target) Clicksor is a contextual network in which your ads will be placed on websites'in context' of the products and services you are promoting/selling

Frequency Cap (Unique Cap) The number of times an ad can be delivered to the same user in a given time period. Controls by IP address from i.e. 1/12 means the same user with the IP address will be able to view your ads twice in a day

Daily Limitthe dollar amount that the user would like to spend in a day

Exlimit when the campaign has set a daily limit and the daily limit has been reached for the day

Low Balance when the campaign has ran out of funds

Conversionsqualifying actions that the advertiser will gain a return such as sales or registrations

Discrepancy The difference between conflicting facts usually between a third party system and our reporting system

Adware/Spyware applications installed on a user's computer without the user knowing, which monitors the behavior of the user and display relevant ads (We don't use adware/spyware)

Above-the-fold the area that the user sees on a website without having to move the cursor (the most eye catching)

Click Through Rate (CTR) the numbers of click divided by the impressions of the ads, in percent

Click Validation System our database would scan every click of a campaign to ensure that all the clicks are human generated and not artificially generated, all suspicious clicks will be return back to the advertiser's account

Bidding Rate the rate the user is willing to pay for in order to have their ad listed under a specific keyword/category

Auction Model the users will have a chance to uniquely bid for a specific keyword/channel in which the higher they place their bid the higher the placement and frequency their ad will appear

IP address the unique address assign to every computer that goes online (like your physical home address)

Cookie a piece of memory which has a small file size in which it will remember small pieces of information such as username, password etc. (I.e. hotmail asks if you would like to remember your username and password if you checked yes the information is stored as a cookie in your computer.)

Campaign The process of planning, creating, buying and tracking an advertising project from start to finish and all the components related to it.

Geo-target enables targeting based on country locations of users

 

In what languages is Clicksor Available?

 

At the moment Clicksor is only available in English. However, your landing pages can be in any language.
